Private Lessons
From puppy to young adult. In-home private lessons are great for working on everything from beginner obedience training to problem solving. Tailored to your needs and goals, the easiest solutions for your busy life.
The details:
1-hour private lessons.
$125 per session.
$75 for pre-certification trainers
In-home availability limited to Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm.

Trainer Overview:
Nikki Welch, LVT, KPA CTP
Nikki began volunteering to raise puppies for a service dog organiztion (Paws With A Cause) in 2011 after graduating from MSU with her Veterinary Nursing degree. She received her Dog Trainer Certification from Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior in 2016 and continues to pursue education within the training and veterinary fields. In her down time, Nikki continues to foster puppies for Animal Assisted Intervention programs and dabble in horse training using positive reinforcement.

Allie Norman
Allie began training in a professional capacity in 2024. She is currently completing her Dog Trainer Certification from CATCH academy. Allie enjoys volunteering at a local shelter and teaching families in a private lesson capacity. Allie’s gifting with kids allows them to learn in an empowering environment to build confidence and real-world dog handling skills.
*Allie’s pre-certification introductory rate is $75 for the greater Grand Rapids area. Pricing to increase June 2026 after certification.
