At Dream Dogs Training, we help you reach your goals using science-based positive reinforcement. Effective training is implemented in small, easily accomplished steps that speed learning – at both ends of the leash! We can make training easy to understand and fun for your dog to increase communication and strengthen your bond. Knowledge about body language allows for effective socialization and appropriate play to grow your awkward (but cute) pup into a confident well rounded dog!

Reaching your end goal is important to us. Do you want your dog to know 100 commands and tricks? Great, we can help! Do you just want your dog to stop stealing food off the table and calm down? We can help with those goals, too! You describe the dog you dream about and we will create achievable steps to get you there! Peace can be restored, and you don’t even have to stop sleeping with your dog – if you don’t want to.

About the Trainer

Nearing graduation at MSU, I applied for the Foster Puppy program at Paws With a Cause. The day after leaving campus, I received an adorable black lab pup, Flair. To say he was spirited would be an understatement! This little guy was active, quick, and an eater-of-everything. The first months were a roller coaster of puppy management and trying to keep my head above water. My perceived failures were quickly overshadowed by his fast learning and accomplishments. By 10 months of age, I was so proud of the dog he had become – I was seeing the results of the training investment! Upon turn in at a year of age, I said my tearful goodbye, sending him on to assist a person with a disability.

Fortunately, that is not where the story ends. The experience of training a puppy and giving back to the community became addictive. I have raised more than 8 foster puppies through PAWS. With my house professionally puppy proofed and a lot of experience under my belt, each pup seems a bit easier. While each pup teaches me something new, the art of raising a puppy becomes a little more clear.

Puppy raising has a steep learning curve – don’t struggle through by yourself. Let me help speed that learning so you can get back to living your life in peace and harmony with your families cutest best friend.
